FYI--Opportunity to Serve on iCONN Advisory Board

Many of you already know that iCONN (the Connecticut Digital Library) is important to our campus community as well as the larger state-wide community!

Their advisory board has a carefully comprised membership and the state is seeking applications for anyone who could fill the "business community or library user" category for the Advisory Board for the Connecticut Digital Library.

This could be you!

On our campus, iCONN’s academic and full-text databases have greatly increased and improved our online support of our full curriculum. It provides significant access to quality databases and has been of solid support for our general-personal & course related (studio & academic alike) research needs. Are you familiar with how it serves your local communities too?

As the campus librarian, I feel compelled to encourage you to consider serving on this board. The iCONN board advises on the electronic databases that we can access via this state funded network.
