Library

Position Overview

Volunteers are needed to assist with multiple aspects of library work, including the College’s growing archives.

Job Functions/Tasks

The work is primarily clerical in nature and may involve computer data entry, image creation and editing , database searching, sorting of materials, repair and shelf-preparation of library or archive materials.

Helpful Skills/Abilities

Volunteers should be computer literate. A familiarity with Microsoft Office products, FileMaker Pro, or relational databases, and Photoshop software and the Internet are helpful.

Spring Semester 2007 Services

After a nice winter break, we're resuming our library services effective today.

We'll be offering regular service hours six days a week. The current service schedule is listed at: http://www.lymeacademy.edu/The_Library/libhours.htm

During the first few weeks of classes all returning and new students are able to get updated IDs at the library's main desk. If you have questions about updating your ID direct your calls to 860 434-5232 x131 or spot in during our service horus (listed on above webpage).
