AAARRRRR…This be *Py-rate Day*, est. 1811 by one SenYAR, Van Franklin. Here on HMS Krieble we have recently shanghaied, er… ‘recruited’ a trio of student deckhands inc. The Terror the CT Coast, Texas Anne, who holds the book above for yer perusals…. Pyle not only exhibited great draftsmanship in *pyrateTUDE* but also was the founder of The Brandywine School (which inc. N.C. Wyeth etc.), hence being the veritable cornerstone of The Golden Age of Illustration here in the colonies. When ye sign on for a tour of duty here at The Academy, Old Skool *is* cool skool, me hearties-- AAARRRRR…
